Fitch High School Social Norms Campaign- Social norming is a research-based strategy that aims to correct the misperceptions students have about what is typical behavior among their peers. At Fitch High School, 70% of FHS Teen Don't Drink Alcohol and 4 Out of 5 FHS Teens Choose Not to Get Into a Car With Someone Who Has Been Drinking. These facts were put onto posters and were posted throughout Fitch High. The Groton social norms campaign is fashioned after the "Most of Us" media campaign developed by Jeffrey Linkenbach, EdD at Montana State University, with the assistance of Janice Kessler, alcohol and drug counselor from Sacred Heart University.
